Hard Wired Heat Alarm

The Kidde KF30 Interconnectable Heat Alarm is a mains-powered heat detector with a 9V alkaline back-up battery. Part of the Firex range, you can link this product with up to 23 other Kidde mains alarms. If one alarm is activated, all other connected alarms will sound. This product is most suitable for humid or dusty areas within your home, such as in kitchens, loft spaces and garages. Comes with a sensor thermistor (Thermal Resistor) within detection unit and a button test which simulates the effect of heat at the sensor, checks electronics and sounder. An automatic self-test circuitry tests the unit and beeps (chirps) if fault is detected. This range requires installation by a professionally qualified electrician and complies with UK Building Regulations for new housing and associated standards (Grade D2 BS 5839, Part 6).
