Type 2 Surge Protection Device 1 Module

The H6821S is a surge protection device (SPD) designed to meet the requirements of the 18th Edition Wiring Regulations. This device will provide protection from two forms of surge: LEMP )Lighting Electro Magnetic Pulse) and SEMP (Switching Electro Magnetic Pulse). The type 2 surge protection device is the main protection system for all low voltage electrical installations. It will prevent the spread of overvoltage in electrical installation and protects the load. It must be provided where over voltage could cause serious injury/loss of life, cause interruption of public services, cause interruption to commercial/industry activity or affect a large number of co-located individuals.
